A single ply skin of 10mils thickness, either clear or coated, with extra-wide deadening ring around the outside. The ring reduces overtones and focuses the sound of the bass drum, really pushing the bass forward. Used in conjunction with the Blast impact patch (included with each head and also available separately), it protects the head and adds extra “click” to help the bass drum cut through the mix.

Note: this head is designed to fit 16" bass drums with wooden hoops. It will fit some tom conversions (with metal tom hoops), but not all - if you purchase for this purpose, we can't guarantee that it will fit your drum. For 16" tom conversions, try a Reso Ring head.
