This is an often overlooked quality birch-shelled PDP snare. It combines a pure Birch shell with solid DW-inspired hardware (fine-pitch tuning lugs and a Gladstone-style throw off). A great-looking charcoal burst finish is a step above what you'd expect in drums at this level, a matt wax-style finish.
 
The drum has brand new Evans heads top and bottom, and sounds great.
